Orphaned Fawn Adopts This Guy As Her Dad

This orphaned baby deer wandered into the exact right backyard. Jeff told us how this little fawn chose him as her temporary dad — and what happened on the happiest day of his life!

00:00I saw that baby coming out of the forest, but I didn't see a mother.

00:09I attached a bottle of milk on a bird feeder.

00:13She went for it almost right away, and I couldn't believe it.

00:18But eventually I tried to hold the bottle myself, and she came, and I was like, no way.

00:26I was giving her six bottles a day.

00:32Eventually we got close, we became best friends.

00:37To have a baby deer as a friend, free to go, just help them with their milk and they like

00:46She's wild and she will remain wild.

00:49She would do her things in the daytime, but every morning she would be there.

00:52She really loves to sit there by the passion of the lawn.

01:33That tells me that even though I don't see them a lot, they meet, and they know each other.

01:39The best scenario was for her to meet with another pack of deer.

04:20But with a bit of luck, she will come back with her own offspring next spring.
