00:14The Department of Health Center for Health Development in Soksargen has recently launched
00:19the nation's first immunization coalition building to strengthen the immunization
00:23program in the Soksargen region. Dr. Edwier Jane Montaner, National Immunization Manager of DOH
00:29CHD Soksargen, explained that they have formed a coalition to involve sectoral groups to help
00:34eliminate zero-dose children, those who haven't received any or complete vaccines.
00:59This multisectoral approach aims to strengthen immunization services by addressing misinformation,
01:06advocating for public support, and enhancing logistical and financial aid. In response to
01:11the call, the General Santos City Local Government has rolled out its school-based immunization
01:16program starting October until November to protect all children from any vaccine-preventable disease.
01:29The DOH strongly emphasized that vaccination is a community effort
01:47and urged parents to take advantage of free vaccines and healthcare services available
01:52at rural health centers. From the Philippine Information Agency Soksargen, Harlem Ferolino,
