00:00Some parts of Tuguegarao City are still flooded after the following typhoon hit the province of Cagayan.

00:09Civil Custodian in the center of the news, live, is distributing help to the affected families.

00:21Tuguegarao City, Cagayan is one of the states of calamity because of the typhoon Pipito.

00:27Although the weather is getting better, there are still floods in some barangays like here in Linao East.

00:36According to the Tuguegarao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office,

00:40there are 11,000 individuals affected by the Typhoon Pipito from more than 40 barangays.

00:47Tuguegarao has a catch basin from Magat, Tincawan River, and Cagayan River.

00:52Around 4,000 individuals were evacuated and brought to 30 evacuation centers.

00:57Some of the evacuation centers are serving as schools while others are still affected by floods.

01:03That's why for the past three weeks, schools in Tuguegarao have been closed.

01:07The local government units continue to provide food supplies to those affected by the Typhoon Pipito.

01:12Floods are now increasing in most places and almost all roads are now passable.

01:19Clearing operations are ongoing in the affected areas.

01:23The topography of Tuguegarao has changed.

01:28Many infrastructures were damaged.

01:31We were not able to enter the area.

01:34The area that used to be flooded was not flooded.

01:36The area that was not flooded was the only area that was flooded.

01:39We are trying to check it so that we can develop different measures so that everything can be taken care of.

01:45According to the residents here, the floods will reach Dibdib in Linao East.

01:50But because the weather is getting better, the flood level is going down to Tuhon.

01:55It was just reported that the water level in Buntun River went down from 8.6 meters last night.

02:01It went down to 6.4 meters as of 12 noon.
