00:17Residents affected by the Christine earthquake in the province of Albay are continuing to receive aid from the government.

00:25The government continues to distribute aid to the residents affected by the Christine earthquake in the province of Albay.

00:36The residents were first received by the Family Food Box from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Bicol.

00:42The government of the province of Albay also distributed more than 30,000 relief goods

00:49including 6 kilos of rice, canned food, and clean drinking water for the residents who are still staying in evacuation centers.

00:59Provincial health offices in rural health centers also started distributing hygiene kits and medicines.

01:06The government of the province of Albay also provided initial aid of 2 million pesos for the agriculture sector.

01:13However, the lack of electricity supply is still a problem in the province.

01:18Some residents are struggling to manage the supply of electricity.

01:40According to Acting Governor Glenda Ong Bonggao,

01:42their coordination with the Albay Electric Cooperative is tight because this is one of the main requests of the residents of Albay.

01:50We really want the electricity to come back.

01:53And when the electricity comes back, the situation is back to normal.

01:57So that is what we are trying to do, to help our residents to get the electricity back to the province of Albay as soon as possible.

02:09According to the Albay Electric Cooperative, they will do their best to get the electricity back before the weekend ends.
