00:00Warisan's dream of an all-Sabahan electoral alliance with Parti Bersatu Sabah, Parti Solidarity
00:07Tanah Ayakku, and even Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat for the next state polls
00:12seems unlikely, according to political analysts.
00:15O.A. Sun from the Singapore Institute of International Affairs expects PBS and Star to remain in
00:21Gabungan Rakyat Sabah due to its current control of the state government, which offers significant
00:26resources.
00:27He added that other Mosquito Parties have nothing to offer Warisan.
00:31Meanwhile, University Malaysia Sabah's Lee Kwok Tiong said Warisan dominates Sabah's
00:36east coast, while PBS and Star hold sway among Kandesan Dusun, Murut, and Rungus voters in
00:42the west and interior.
00:44However, Lee points out that excluding Hajiji Norsga Kasan Rakyat, the anchor party of GRS,
00:50would weaken the alliance's reach and effectiveness.
00:53He added that PBS and Star recently reaffirmed their commitment to GRS through a memorandum
00:58of understanding, further solidifying their position within the coalition.
01:02Recently, Warisan insisted it will only ally with parties willing to oppose subservience
01:07to national coalitions, ruling out collaboration with Gagasan Rakyat, which had previously
01:12absorbed several Warisan defectors.
