00:05Fresh off a win last night, the Boston Celtics improved at 12 and 3 on the season, 5 and 2 at home, and a big NBA Cup win over the Cavaliers who came into the game with perfection, 15 and 0 on the season, and also 7 and 0 on the road.
00:17They dropped to 7 and 1 on the road, 15 and 1 on the season, but they did fight in this game.
00:21The Celtics looked like they were on cruise control through the first part of that game, first half and through the third quarter, but a furious comeback for the Cavaliers does come up short.
00:28The Boston Celtics, look, records aside, we understand they're probably the most talented overall team in the NBA.
00:34Jason Tatum looks like a better version of himself, but I enjoyed that basketball game.
00:38Close at the end here, Cavaliers flop, but I thought that streak would come to a close yesterday, and I also thought, Dubsy, the Boston Celtics would get the win and the cover, which they didn't.
00:47So credit the Cavaliers for coming all the way back and covering that spread as they sit at 15 and 1.
00:52No shame in their game.
00:53You got to lose some time.
00:54Just a good battle in Boston last night.
00:56Yeah, I mean, you're going against the reigning champs in their building.
00:59It's a little taxing trying to keep up a run of 15 and 0 and trying to make it 16 and 0, something we haven't seen since the Golden State Warriors, so that was special.
01:09And the Celtics have looked really strong, Donnie.
01:11Not to say it's been a bigger surprise as where the Cavs have started their season at, but for the Boston Celtics, they look bigger, better, faster.
01:19You highlighted Jason Tatum from beyond the arc.
01:22The three-point shooting has been absolutely lethal.
01:25They went 14 for 22 from three in the first half.
01:29They blew them out to a 21-point deficit.
01:31I know it was a lot closer in that third quarter.
01:34The Cavs made a bit of a run, got it to I believe it was a two-point margin there, but the Boston Celtics are playing some really good basketball.
01:41Not to say that this is going to be a preview of what's to come in a few months, but there's levels to this game, and it certainly looks like the Boston Celtics could be in a league of their own.
01:51But for the Cavs, question marks on how this is going to affect them.
01:55We usually see a bit of a drop ball lingering effect after that first loss comes with a really good chance of back-to-back drop in a couple, but this was a monster performance.
02:05Jason Tatum has looked fantastic to start this year.
02:09I mean, going through the summer there at Paris, there was a bit of a snub at the Olympics, so too for a couple of the teammates there, but they're playing motivated.
02:17They're playing some really good basketball, and it looks like the locker room is absolutely vibing right now.
02:22So for a lot of these other contenders in the association who really haven't figured things out early, and the records support that, the Boston Celtics.
02:30This was a clinical display on Tuesday evening, not to take it away from the Cavs, but the best team in the NBA right now, it's got to be the Boston Celtics.
