00:09During an ordinary session of the National Assembly, Rodríguez encouraged the discussion
00:13of a defensive law in view of a recent U.S. bill reinforcing sanctions against the country.
00:18The proposal includes the political banning in perpetuity of those who commit harmful
00:23acts against the Republic.
00:25In this sense, Rodríguez urged the deputies to approve the initiative as a matter of urgency
00:30On the other hand, the President of Parliament stressed that the approval of the new sanctions
00:33against Venezuela was backed by the right-wing and the money stolen from Citgo.
