00:00Troubles for hip-hop mogul Sean Dede Combs are never going to end.
00:03As the rapper continues to be inside the jail for multiple charges against him,
00:07prosecutors have now pointed out to him breaking prison rules by contacting
00:11potential witnesses in the upcoming trial.
00:15As alleged by the prosecutors, the musician is accused of making relentless efforts to
00:20corruptly influence witness testimony by using other inmates' telephone accounts.
00:25He was also reported for using three-way calls to speak to people
00:28who are not on his approved contact list.
00:32Prosecutors also informed that a review of recorded calls made them believe that
00:37Dede tried instructing his family members to contact potential witnesses in his case.
00:41Currently, Combs is in custody in Manhattan. He has pleaded not guilty
00:46to all of the charges against him and had previously denied any wrongdoing.
00:52Upon the recent allegations of trying to collect witnesses,
00:55lawyer Alexandra Shapiro argued in his defense, stating that it was impossible for the musician
01:01to prepare for trial from behind bars because of the incredibly voluminous
01:05amount of material to review, especially without a laptop computer.
01:11Reportedly, his lawyers also made a renewed bid for bail last week,
01:15proposing a $50 million package that would see him being monitored
01:18around the clock by security personnel while he will be kept under house arrest.
01:22However, the bail was first rejected by the district judge, followed by an appeals court judge.
