00:28organization BRS it's not overly surprising that Daniel Jones is now

00:33going to be riding pine with a New York team at 2 and 8 he hasn't been awful

00:39this year he also hasn't been good at all I would say that's exactly what

00:44Daniel Jones is as an NFL starting quarterback but his time as the Giants

00:49starter that's a wild start to the clip right there his time as the Giants

00:54starter has now come to a close and it should be coming to a close should have

00:58came to a close two years ago but let's understand the Giants evolution we all

01:02laughed at the Giants and Dave Gettleman when they drafted Daniel Jones hey look

01:06we can have a reckoning no he wasn't a great quarterback in college it was

01:09hilarious that he drafted him that high and it never worked out like he was

01:12better as a rookie than he was as his progression over the next couple years

01:16which then turned out to be he's a good quarterback because he throws a half of

01:20a touchdown per game on an NFL season but the best part about this was is you

01:25blow Dave Gettleman out of there who is a horrendous general manager and set

01:28that franchise back and you said to yourself at least I said then you can't

01:32get a worse GM than Dave Gettleman but yet the Giants went out and got

01:35themselves a worse general manager than Dave Gettleman and Joe Shane the fact of

01:40the matter is this I love Brian D'Abel in Buffalo but thought he resurrected the

01:44career of Josh Allen a young talented quarterback that he know what could be

01:48one of the best players in football over the next 10 years and you saw Josh

01:50Allen yesterday the evolution he said it's been fantastic D'Abel was a big

01:54part of that D'Abel comes to the Giants okay I get a one-year look-see at Daniel

01:58Jones to see what I can do then that making the playoffs not because Daniel

02:02Jones he stunk that year it's because the schedule they took advantage of

02:05played opportunistic defense found themselves in the playoffs before the

02:08Eagles absolutely waxed them and by the way Daniel Jones went on the road and

02:11won a playoff game that's great but at the end of the season you should have

02:14been able to say to your organization as Brian D'Abel I took this guy as long

02:18as I can go I need a franchise guy but the fact that you got a terrible owner

02:21in the room in the Maris and then you got also a terrible general manager in

02:25the room and a coach who obviously has no idea what talent looks like at the

02:29quarterback position coming from Josh Allen in Buffalo you made the decision

02:33to bring back Daniel Jones at a monster contract and I'm telling you right now

02:36not a single other NFL team was gonna offer Daniel Jones $1 to come back you

02:41signed him but also Ben the favorite part about the story is the best part

02:45about the Giants signing Daniel Jones they told you was well if he stinks we

02:49can get out of it after two years well two years is up he stinks and you got

02:53out of it everybody must go in that front office including the coaching

02:57staff for the New York Giants
