00:00In the middle of the upcoming storm hits in the country, the DSWD's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation Program is expected to be implemented.

00:12After the approval of the Department of Budget and Management, the additional P5 billion will be used for this.

00:20This is also in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Barcos Jr. to look into the needs of our countrymen in need.

00:31According to Budget Secretary Abena Pangandaman, this will help the vulnerable and marginalized communities

00:42and will help them in their recovery.

00:45The DBM also explained that the allocation of this additional fund is in line with the Special Provision of the 2024 General Appropriations Act in the use of unprogrammed appropriation.
