00:00The Governor of Catanduanes confirmed the zero-casualty in their area despite the heavy downpour of the Super Typhoon Pipito.

00:08Despite this, the LGU continues to call for help from the government.

00:20The area of Catanduanes remains zero-casualty after the Super Typhoon Pipito hit last Saturday.

00:27This is confirmed by Governor Joseph Buboy Cua,

00:30where at this time, there is no report of deaths, injuries, or disappearance after the Pipito hit the area,

00:38particularly the municipalities of Igmoto, Bagamanok, Liga, Pandan, Panganiban, and Karamuran.

00:44This is because of the early preparation of the local governments,

00:48where they immediately carried out a preemptive evacuation before the typhoon hit.

00:53According to Cua, the Super Typhoon Pipito hit the municipalities where the strong winds of the typhoon Rolly felt in 2019.

01:02The Governor called for help from the government and private individuals to help them with the needs of the victims of the typhoon.

01:11Cua specifically mentioned that the residents need hardware materials, GI sheets, plywood, and other equipment for building houses

01:20because almost all houses were hit by the typhoon.

01:23Meanwhile, Team Albay is preparing to help the victims of the Typhoon Pipito in Catanduanes.

01:30According to Engineer Dante Baklao, the OIC of Apsimo will help the local government of Albay

01:36and the office of Congressman Joey Salceda for Relief Operations in Panay Island in the municipality of Panganiban.

01:42This is where the Super Typhoon Pipito first landfalled last Saturday night.

01:47This is also the place where help is always given whenever a typhoon hits

01:52because it is very far from the center of the town of Panganiban.

01:55The parish priest of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity is also calling for help for the residents affected by the typhoon.
