00:13More than 101,000 family food packs or FFPs are being prepared by the Department of Social Welfare Development, Eastern Visayas
00:23in various strategic areas in Region 8 to address the effects of the Pipito storm in Eastern Visayas.
00:29This is based on the latest report released by DSWD 8.
00:33The FFPs are said to be worth more than P127.9 million of the total available resources of the agency,
00:41of which more than P2 million of standby funds and more than P129.5 million of food and non-food items.
00:50Non-food items amount to more than P36,000.
00:54At present, the weather is fine in a large part of Eastern Visayas.
00:59Based on the data, there is no casualty reported, particularly in the province of Eastern Samara.

01:10as well as the situation of other provinces in the region for disaster relief augmentation if necessary.
