00:00Boise State ranked 13th in the country, more than a two-touchdown favorite on the road today

00:05in San Jose, taking on the Spartans. You see that number? It is now up to 14 and a half.

00:12And Kevin, it's also a time to highlight two great individuals in the group of five. Of course,

00:17Ashton Gente, still a Heisman frontrunner. Last week, back over two bills, 209 yards

00:23and three rushing touchdowns, but a close win for the Broncos against Nevada. The leading

00:29wide receiver in college football in terms of his receiving scores, 13 of them, that's Nick Nash

00:36playing for SJSU. You mentioned it in the GTVT-TTLT that if you respected the premise

00:43of that wonderful segment, you might look at San Jose State to win outright today. How come?

00:49Yeah, so I look at this spot here and we've not seen Boise on the road a ton this season,

00:55but when we have, there's been some danger. Their first two games were on the road.

00:59Georgia Southern, at one point in that game, actually had a fourth quarter lead. Oregon ended

01:04up winning that football game. Obviously, that's like the best thing on the Boise resume, but

01:09nevertheless, it was on the road and it was a loss against Hawaii. That game was actually very close

01:15in the fourth quarter. Boise was only up by six points in it. They ended up being able to pull

01:20away and then you take a look at their game against UNLV, where they trailed entering that

01:26fourth quarter. So that's three out of the four games on the road. Boise's not looked the same.

01:31I also think while Ashton Jenthie has had himself this incredible season, I think there could be

01:35something to the fact that Boise, man, it's such an interesting tightrope to walk where you want

01:40to give them all the workload, get them a chance at a Heisman, but have they started to overuse

01:45this kid a little bit, right? We saw UNLV and SDSU keep them under five yards of carry. I know

01:50we got to 6.1 last week. Man, still 34 totes in that game. San Jose State is, along with Boise

01:57and UNLV, are the onlys that are under four yards per carry allowed. And Nick Nash is one of the

02:03other kind of mid-major skill position darlings. So I think that the Spartans can score with them

02:09here. And I believe this number shifted to 14 and a half, at which point, man, two touchdowns and

02:15then some. San Jose State's probably going to be my best bet. I'll likely be getting involved

02:20again on that spread. Now it's at 14 and a half. I agree. I like the number in terms of two

02:24touchdowns, especially San Jose State's a tricky place to play. It's almost like I say it's like

02:29a high school field. All the fans are right over you. I will say a couple of standouts,

02:33it's not just Nick Nash. Justin Lockhart broke out with five receptions over 100 yards. Floyd

02:39Chalk, baby. How about that? No Chalk here. We're taking the dog. So I like San Jose State. I will

02:46say to Gente's point, they gave up 182 rushing yards per 182 yards on the ground when they beat

02:54Oregon State. That's got to be the recipe he might eat today. But can we get through the 61 and a

02:59half is the question. I think we can. Five games for the Spartans as an underdog. Under in four

03:05of five. The Broncos only played overs to start the year. Five consecutive to begin this season.

03:10Now under in three of the last four. But Boise State not great defending the pass. San Jose

03:16and Nick Nash the wideout. Fifth best passing offense in the country. You mentioned some of

03:20the numbers for SJSU in terms of defending the run in yards per pop. Still allowing more than 150

03:27on the ground.
