00:00The evacuation of residents who may be affected by the typhoon Pipitos in Albay is ongoing.

00:11The local government of Tiwi, Albay has ordered a forced evacuation of coastal areas and dangerous places.

00:18The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Tiwi Mayor Jaime Villanueva

00:24have visited the barangays to evacuate the residents.

00:27Their vehicles and equipment are also ready for their disaster response efforts.

00:33The LGU is also monitoring the strong winds and possible storm surge due to the super typhoon Pipitos.

00:38According to the LGU, it is estimated that 4,300 families or more than 14,000 individuals have been evacuated from 25 barangays.

00:48According to the mayor, 90% of their residents have been evacuated.

00:53What we are doing is sound tracking early in the morning so that we can inform the people about the seriousness of the situation.

01:06At the moment, the evacuees are staying in evacuation centers and strong private houses in the town.

01:12The LGU is also distributing family food packs and hot meals to the evacuees.
