Many of things I foresaw have come to pass. Putin blowing up of the Nova Kakhovka bridge was poison to the Russian invaders. There first and second defense lines on the left side of the Dnieper River that Russia created were destroyed and Russians drowned as a result. Their arms and preparations were all washed away. And worse yet for Russia, blowing up the dam ended fresh water going to Crimea. The Crimea reservoir is going down far faster than Russia anticipated. The Russian population is having to abandon Crimea, because they are running out of water, and in so doing Russia has lost the war. The destruction of the Kursk bridge makes reinforcement, and the continued bombing of the land bridge in the South of Karson makes logistical support of Russian armaments more and more impossible. More and more Russians living in Crimea are trying to flee the peninsula but the Southern land roads back to Russia are now under Ukraine round-the-clock fire control.
Even with the Counter Offensive going in full attack, note how Putin continues to waste his troops slugging out in Bakhmut. Ukraine's critics and Putin litteraly are brain dead, because they do not know war. Winning in war means that when your enemy makes strategic mistakes, you take advantage of their foolishness, even if that means delaying in other areas. Some think that Ukraine is going to slow. No, the battlefield is never set. You must reset your troops based upon what the enemy is doing. The first objective in modern war, based on NATO standards, is not to take land, but rather to find and destroy the enemy. In this case, Putin is his own worst enemy. He is bringing all his reserves to Bakhmut.
Western intelligence pegs Russian strength at 60,000 troops, while Russian bloggers have claimed as much as 100,000 Russians in Southern Ukraine. So, in this case, Ukraine does not have to search for the Russian enemy. No, Putin is robbing Peter to save Paul, from all over the South and East to shore up Bakhmut. Fortunate for Ukraine, Putin by his actions has no understanding of sound battle tactics. Let us consider, what is the history then of battles where one army has the high ground, and the other the low ground.
