00:15Residents in Aligaspi City, Albay are getting ready for the upcoming storm Pepito.
00:21The local government conducted a pre-disaster risk assessment
00:25led by Mayor Alfredo Garbin Jr.
00:28along with officials of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office,
00:32Police Station, BFP Substation, and Punong Barangay.
00:36Some of the residents are expected to return early
00:40from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Friday.
00:44Schools and public places will also be used as evacuation centers.
00:50The Mayor also announced that relief goods will be received immediately
00:54for the families who will be placed in pre-emptive evacuation.
00:57However, it is far from meeting the needs of evacuees
01:01while temporarily staying in evacuation centers.
01:05According to Aligaspi City RRMO,
01:07the local DRRM fund, which is worth P28 million,
01:13will distribute relief goods to the displaced families.

01:18more than 40,000 families may be affected by the storm Pepito in the city.
01:25From 70 barangays, 25 barangays will be affected by the storm Lahar,
