00:00Meanwhile, the crime rate index in the Philippines has dropped by 13% according to the Philippine National Police.

00:07We are now down by more than 30,000 in the crime incidents reported by the PNP in the past 11 months,

00:14from January 1 to November 8.

00:16This is lower than last year in the same period.

00:21More than 30,000 focus crime incidents were reported.

00:25This is lower than the number of cases in the past year.

00:29The number of focus crimes are murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, theft, robbery, vehicle theft, and motorcycle theft.

00:37Meanwhile, the number of motorcycle theft has increased by 1.42% since 2023.

00:43Moreover, the number of cybercrime cases in the country has decreased by 5.75% this year.

00:50Meanwhile, the number of drug offenders who were arrested by the authorities has not decreased by more than 49,000.

00:55They were fined P19 billion for illegal drugs.
