00:03A little bit of a hiccup there last week for Washington at home.

00:07Winnable game, but they end up losing to Pittsburgh, 28-27.

00:11Philadelphia's kind of turned things around here very quietly.

00:18So who do you like on the surface on this Wednesday afternoon for

00:21tomorrow's Thursday night game?

00:32But that being said, I don't think I'd have overturned it on review either.

00:38But remember, they probably should have also lost the Hail Mary game, right?

00:43And so what I'm trying to tell you is the Commanders may be heading a little

00:46bit back down to earth.

00:48You know, they pulled out some wins they shouldn't have had.

00:50Maybe they lost a game they should have won.

00:52Philadelphia's on the rise here.

00:54Everyone's healthy now.

00:55Brown, Goddard, the offensive line.

00:58Washington, not so much.

00:59Latimore, probably not going to play.

01:01Matter of fact, checking practice reports.

01:02I know yesterday he didn't practice.

01:04I assume he didn't again today.

01:06I don't trade for players who are hurt, Scott.

01:08Let's look at the hamstring.

01:08I just don't know how that's going to heal.

01:10And now he may not, I don't know when he's going to play there.

01:12I assume they were holding him out last week for this game.

01:14And now he's still not there.

01:16So that concerns me somewhat there,

01:17because I think he's a big piece there to calm that offense down.

01:20He's just as questionable, by the way, as I see here.

01:23But once again, not practicing.

01:25I don't think he plays there.

01:27Brian Robinson, also a little iffy here,

01:29though I think he does go here.

01:31I think this is going to be, like I said,

01:32I think we're going to see the Philadelphia start to take control of the NFC East.

01:34I think they go in there.

01:36I shouldn't say go in there, playing at home.

01:38I don't want to say hammer Washington,

01:39but I think they win a decisive victory here.

01:41So I'm going to take the Eagles.

01:42I'm going to take them and give the points up here.

01:45I think they win by 7, 9, 10 points here.

01:47I think that, once again, at home, short week.

01:50They're the better team.

01:51Washington may be heading on the way down here.

01:53Eagles tell you, we're winning the NFC East, boys.

01:56You go play for a wild card.

01:59I initially liked Washington, like, oh, wow,

02:01you want to give me the Redskins or Commanders over a field goal?

02:04But then when you start to think about things, a little difficult.

02:08They've been able to squeak out some wins here.

02:11And in the big picture, in the long run,

02:13it might not be the worst thing in the world, George,

02:16for them not to win this division.

02:18They're in first place now.

02:19This would go a long way towards winning the division,

02:21if they could get a win here.

02:23Just because, ask the Houston Texans.

02:26You get a first place schedule.

02:28In year number two of your quarterback,

02:30in this case with Daniels versus Stroud with Houston,

02:33man, it's just a whole other game.

02:34You're getting a couple of more games against top five teams

02:39in the NFL, versus even a second place schedule,

02:42where at least you get the second place team.

02:44You're not going to face the Detroit Lions.

02:47You're not going to face the San Francisco 49ers,

02:49or the Buffalo Bills, or the Kansas City Chiefs.

02:52You will, if you're the first place team,

02:55because you get the first place other teams.

02:56So you're not going to probably win a Super Bowl, right?

03:00Even if you got home field advantage,

03:04heck, you could have the number one seed in the NFC,

03:06and I don't think they're going to get that.

03:08I think that's Detroit's.

03:09But just for the sake of argument,

03:11I still don't think Washington would end up

03:13going to the Super Bowl.

03:14So like I said, it might not be the worst thing

03:16in the world for them to finish as a wild card team this year.
