00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, is continuously preparing for the 2025 midterm polls.

00:06As part of their preparation, the poll body is set to conduct a field test on the machines

00:11and the system that will be used for the automated elections.

00:15This will help COMELEC determine whether changes need to be made,

00:18or if there are problems that need to be fixed before the holding of the political exercise.

00:24We want to see the effectiveness of the machines, especially when it comes to transmitting results.
