Santa 'Claws': London's T-Rex gets festive makeover for Christmas

The Tyrannosaurus rex at London's Natural History Museum has debuted its new Christmas jumper and hat in a festive makeover. Visitors to the museum will be able to view the dinosaur in its festive attire for free throughout the Christmas season.

00:00Well, it's becoming our traditional way for the museum to kick off our festive celebrations

00:11and this year I think we've gone bigger and better than any year previously.

00:19The jumper features Fern, who is our newest member to the collection and she's a cast

00:24of the nation's favourite dinosaur, Dippy, so she's outside in our new nature garden

00:28and we wanted to pay tribute to her as being the star of our Christmas jumper.

00:33It takes a lot of people and the secret is there's a zip in the back of the jumper and

00:39then arms are so very small, we start with those and then we just zip it all at the back

00:43before we put the hat on to finish off the look.
