00:31of Mindanao State University or MSU

00:35for the implementation of educational assistance

00:38to the children of Moro Islamic Liberation Front

00:41or MILF decommissioned combatants of Lanao del Sur

00:44on November 5 this year.

00:47Every qualified student grantee will receive P25,000 every semester

00:53or P50,000 every year for four years

00:57to complete their bachelor's degree program.

01:00BAPRO recognizes the importance of investing in peace intervention

01:05that will uplift the socio-economic conditions

01:08of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front decommissioned combatants,

01:11their families, and for the peace,

01:13not only in the short term but for many years to come.

01:17One of the beneficiaries, Sultan Asren Natangco,

01:20is a fourth-year student in Communication and Media Studies

01:23at MSU Marawi.

01:25He was inspired by his father's courage

01:28to give up arms and accept peace.

01:32This sacrifice paved the way for a better life for his family.

01:38This program is a proof of the dedication of the government,

01:43of the MILF,

01:45and of all the people

01:51who worked tirelessly for peace in Mindanao.

01:57This educational assistance is not just a gift,

02:03but a leader in my struggle.

02:07BAPRO and the MSU System

02:10gave a total of P13,100,000

02:14to 524 students

02:16who were beneficiaries of the Moro Autonomous Region

02:19in Muslim Mindanao Subarm

02:21at Regions 9, 10, and 12.
