00:00All right, so let's start off with one of the matchups in the East in the NBA tonight

00:06and get your opinion on it, and it is the Knicks and the 76ers, and a point spread that

00:11a few weeks ago, Dexter, if I would have told you that the Knicks are going to be favored

00:15in Philly in November, you would have said, well, what catastrophe happened for the Sixers

00:20for that to happen?

00:21And the answer would be pretty much everything.

00:23So the Knicks are a point and a half favorite tonight, total of two 13 and a half.

00:28I mean, I suppose at some point Philly is going to start winning some games.

00:32I'm going to guess, I guess we can start with tonight and go from there.

00:35Yeah, and here's why tonight's interesting, Craig, right?

00:38Because you're going to get the return of Joel Embiid, and you wonder what kind of emotional

00:43boost that will provide the team, right?

00:45But there's been all the drama going on with Embiid, so how does that work?

00:48Now Embiid, he has had a whale of a time against Carl Anthony Towns.

00:53He's feasted on him, and Carl Anthony Towns is struggling defensively right now, allowing

00:57over 91% of shots that he faces at the rim where he's trying to defend.

01:01So he's got to clean that up, Embiid feasting that.

01:04However, how is Embiid's knee?

01:06That's the key to me, and do the Knicks try to attack him in pick-and-roll situations

01:09with Carl Anthony Towns, who's been fantastic offensively?

01:12So this is the real key matchup for me in this game.

01:16With all that being said, the Sixers are not going to have Tyrese Maxey.

01:20He's out now.

01:21I think that's a huge advantage, especially for Jalen Brunson in this game.

01:24I'd love him going over his points prop there.

01:26I think it's at 24 and a half.

01:28I wouldn't even mind if somebody wanted to sprinkle a couple dollars down on Embiid going

01:31over his points, though I'm a little bit skeptical of how many minutes he'll play in this one.

01:36But I like the Knicks in this one just because I think the Knicks are coming off of a loss

01:40in Indiana where they did not play well defensively.

01:43They gave up 40 points in the fourth quarter.

01:46I think they'll be motivated on the road, first time these two teams are meeting since

01:49game six in the playoffs last year.

01:51I'll go with the Knicks to cover here.

01:53But yeah, I think this point spread, very shocking that the Knicks are getting the points

01:58on the road.

01:59I didn't think we would have thought this at the beginning of the season.

02:01But everything injury-wise has gone wrong in Philadelphia.

02:04Yeah, and the only other team, I mean, I think there are a lot of teams that are not happy

02:08with their start.

02:09I'm sure Milwaukee is another one of those teams that you wouldn't have thought that

02:12would be in this spot.

02:13But the win total for Philadelphia, I believe, went from 50 to 44 and a half, dropped like

02:18six.

02:19So that's kind of where it stands right now.

02:21Look, still a lot of time left in the season to make the playoffs.

02:24Everybody makes it, so they're minus 650.

02:26But as far as their other numbers, they're really high.

02:29Plus 1950 to win the East, plus 2400 to win the finals.
