00:00Prime Minister, Donald Trump's victory tells us that millions of people who don't care

00:04about climate change may not even believe in it. Has that made you reflect

00:09that politicians are losing this argument?

00:12I think it's very important for the

00:14United Kingdom to show leadership on the climate challenge. It's a very important

00:19challenge of our time. It's also, I've long believed, the single biggest

00:23opportunity for the next generation of jobs. I look forward to working

00:26with President Trump, of course I do, as I'll work with all global leaders on this.

00:31But we just had a very successful International Summit for Investment just

00:35a few weeks ago, which brought in over £60 billion worth of investment.

00:39Most of that was in renewables and that's investment directly into the United

00:45Kingdom. That's vitally important, that's jobs for generations to come right across

00:50the United Kingdom and that is of central importance. My main mission, which

00:54is to make sure that we grow the economy in the United Kingdom, and what I

00:57mean by that is living standards, people feeling better across the United

01:01Kingdom, and I think this is an opportunity for the UK, not just to show

01:05leadership, but to get those jobs and to ensure that we're at the forefront of the

01:11race for those next generation of jobs.
