00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again promised that the government is ready to support

00:05in order to help the survivors of the next typhoon to recover.

00:09According to President Marcos, no one is left behind, even if there are many calamities.

00:15Benjie Durango of PTV, in Balitang Pambansa.

00:21We are now monitoring what's happening.

00:24The government is all hands on deck in monitoring the effects of the next typhoon

00:28Christine, Leon, Marse, and the following typhoon Nika.

00:32But even though the Philippine area of responsibility for the typhoon Nika has not yet been released,

00:37there are already two typhoons.

00:39The problem is, there is another one that's now 3,000 plus kilometers off the coast of Luzon.

00:49And that promises to be a stronger one.

00:54So, we just have to continue to prepare.

00:58President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said that all typhoons that will enter the country must be prepared

01:04before the rehabilitation can begin.

01:07It becomes a little complicated.

01:09Because when, generally speaking, if we have a typhoon,

01:12this is what is damaged, this is what needs to be done.

01:15Let's fix all of that first.

01:17Now, we are saying, let's think about it.

01:21Because if we fix it, then the next typhoon will destroy it again,

01:29The President assured that the government is prepared to help those affected by the typhoon.

01:49The President admitted that this is the first time the country has experienced something like this.

01:52I don't remember, I've been around for a long time,

01:55I don't remember seeing this many typhoons of this strength.

02:00It's possible that one is strong, then the next one is strong,

02:03there's a little wind.

02:05But it's not like the next one is strong,

02:07and the next one is strong.

02:09We haven't been given a week.

02:12He assures that there is no leaving, even if calamity strikes us.

02:17And the national government will come in as soon as we can.

02:20In fact, we're already there.

02:22And they are just waiting for the storm to allow them to get to work.
