00:00The local government of Quirino and Isabela forcibly evacuated the residents

00:22While the Nica earthquake is raising the southern part of the Cagayan Valley region,

00:27the forced evacuation of the residents of Isabela and Quirino, which are affected by the quake, is urgent.

00:34In Quirino Province, the Rizal-Santo Tomas Overflow Bridge in Saguday, Quirino,

00:39is no longer accessible due to the flooding of the river.

00:42The members of the Provincial DRRM Council in Quirino immediately carried out a clearing operation

00:47on the fallen trees on the roads affected by the strong winds of the quake.

00:53We will coordinate with our LGUs to augment the province in case they need a clearing operation

01:06or if there is an earthquake.

01:10In Nueva Vizcaya and Cagayan, the RDRRMC also ordered the pre-emptive evacuation

01:16due to the flood and earthquake.

01:19The fishermen in the coastal communities of Isabela were immediately evacuated

01:25due to the impact of the storm surge.

01:28The DPWH immediately activated their Disaster Incident Management Team

01:33for the immediate clearing operation in any part of the region.

01:36The Magat Dam lost water due to the continuous flooding

01:40in a large part of Isabela and Ifugao where the water from the dam is flowing.

01:45The DOSD called on those living in low-lying areas and near Cagayan River

01:50to be alert and evacuate if necessary.

01:54Many schools and government offices were closed due to the impact of the storm.
