00:00The 16th World Film Festival of Bangkok 2024 has been a hit with film lovers.

00:06As Thailand's only international feature film competition,

00:10the festival showcases new filmmakers set to make their mark globally.

00:15This year, 15 to 16 films from around the world, including 1 to 2 Thai films,

00:20making their Thailand premiere, were chosen to compete.

00:24An international jury of film industry experts judged the films,

00:28with the winner taking home 700,000 baht prize.

00:32The highlight of the festival is the Lotus Boy Award,

00:35which features films that have never been shown in Thailand.
