00:00Today, we are looking at Cyber Goth Dance Remixes, a dance party that originally went
00:04viral in the early 2010s. It was a bunch of rad cyber ravers knitted out in fishnets,
00:10purple and neon greens, chokers, dyed hair, chains, buckles, belts, and poofy leg warmers.
00:14It was like everyone was Grr or a Gaia Online avatar in real life. It was sick.
00:19This particular dance party took place in Germany, specifically in Dusseldorf,
00:23which seems like a fake word or a weird dessert that I'd order at a bakery,
00:26dancing to EDM under an overpass. It was immediately an intriguing video to everyone.
00:31People began editing the footage, often putting sillier tunes over the dances,
00:35and this lasted throughout the years. Many remixes came out for almost a decade.
00:39On December 12th, 2022, right below our noses the entire time was this alternate
00:43angle video posted on March 14th, 2011, and it actually includes extra footage taken right
00:49before the original video took place. It was very underground, it barely had views in those 13 years
00:53before this redditor found it and posted it. It's a great time castle to an older time,
00:57you can almost feel a distant reality.
