00:10gonna be some great fights and it all culminates with the title fight for the featherweight

00:16division King Kai Stewart who we just had on the show a couple weeks ago going against Jimmy

00:21Altera Rivera who we know well let's talk to multiple times here on sports good as well now

00:26Rivera 2-1-1 the BKFC the longtime UFC vet longtime MMA vet has a lot of experience in

00:32the fight game had an interesting start to his BKFC career obviously you know had the draw with

00:38Davis to start had the beat Usmanov in his second fight to get his first win the BKFC then lost

00:46that fight to Jeremy Littleheaven Stevens it's a tough fight for him a tough loss because you

00:50know I feel like he was doing great in that fight then had to cut that the doctor stepped in and

00:54ended it on always something that could you know it stinks but is always a risk here with the BKFC

00:59when you have the open knuckles people get cut up a lot easier and the doctor plays a lot more of

01:04course of a role in these fights and then of course his last fight was that win over Daniel

01:09Strauss the former Bellator champion who came and made his debut at the BKFC and was welcomed

01:14quite rudely with Jimmy Rivera doing a great job picking him apart and getting the win all of his

01:18fights going to besides the of course the Stephen Stavich being decisions so now he goes against

01:24King Kai Stewart the featherweight champion of the BKFC undefeated 6-0 so far in his career here

01:32the young fighter 24 years old last three wins that he has had over Brian Duran Howard Davis and

01:38Louis Lopez of course Lopez was for the title then Howard Davis was his first defense of the

01:43title then Brian Duran second defense looking better and better with each passing fight I mean

01:48that without Louis Lopez was the first time people saw that he had some pop not Louis Lopez and Matt

01:53that one time people were surprised by that it always been like a dirty you know boxer in the

01:57grappling role because of his wrestling background then Howard Davis just completely picked Davis

02:03apart you know people were very surprised by that I thought that they was gonna win that fight the

02:07length that he had the experience but Kai Stewart made him fight the fight that Kai Stewart wanted

02:12to fight and that is how he got that decision victory and then Brian Duran just dominated that

02:17whole fight so he keeps getting better with every fight now sitting there at 6-0 of course Kai's

02:24gonna be taller something he's maybe not be used to he's gonna have four inches of height and two

02:30inches of reach on Jimmy Rivera there's been a lot of talk back and forth mostly from Kai you know a

02:35lot of trash-talking he kind of relishes that role is the bad guy it seems you know holding that

02:40crown King Kai walking around the mr. Olympia calling Rivera little Jimmy you know because he's

02:47a little short obviously you know saying that he's gonna send him back to his retirement plan

02:51of just being playing cop as a Rivera is a police officer in his you know nine-to-five job but I

02:58think there's still respect you know you heard that from King Kai when we talked to him a couple

03:02weeks ago he knows that this is going to be one of the toughest guys he ever faced you know these

03:06other guys that he has beaten and shown how good he can be they don't have the experience that Jimmy

03:10Rivera has they haven't been you know as a title contender in the UFC they haven't been around the

03:16game as long as Jimmy Rivera has a guy who has not just fought but taught owns his own gym you know

03:22has taught police officers combat sports in order to help them in their job and then became a police

03:27officer himself so you know this guy has been around the block with just about everybody you

03:31can think of in this kind of weight class so also has that wrestling background that you know King

03:37Kai has been able to use to upset people to frustrate them so Jimmy Rivera is not going to

03:41be frustrated he's not going to be the guy that you know can get knocked off his game with what

03:46guys do what likes to do these people especially with the talking but gonna be a very interesting

03:50fight to see does King Kai kind of overwhelm him and you know make it a tighter fight and be able

03:55to push him around a little bit with that extra length or does Jimmy very get in and out you know

04:00one two three punch combos like he likes to do he likes to get in there quick shots get away not

04:05let his you know the guy get his hands on him all that is going to be key to this fight I mean it's

04:10hard to pick against a guy like Rivera with the experience he has but until Kai Stewart loses it's

04:16hard to say that this guy's gonna be beaten I think this is one that goes all five it goes the

04:20decision because that's the way both these guys have fought and when you put in the judges hands

04:24it's anybody's guess how it's gonna go I could see this being something that ends up in a split

04:28decision victory for one of these guys I think I lean a little more towards Stewart with the youth

04:33and the way that he keeps getting better and better but that speed of Jimmy Rivera is gonna

04:37be hard for him to deal with and he has no quit in him.
