00:00Rich Fair here from Manchester World Experience, Manchester United 2-0 in the Europa League.
00:08It was the Ahmad show here at Old Trafford, the Ivorian, one of three changes for interim head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, isn't that it?
00:16Got their first European win in, well, over a year and United finally kick-started their Europa League campaign.
00:24They are now up to the heady heights of 15th in the group stage. It was a very boring and uneventful first half really.
00:31As we said, Ruud van Nistelrooy made three changes from the side that are drawn with Chelsea in the weekend.
00:37Ahmad, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans came into the line-up in place of Mark Scratchford in the tackle lift and Lissandro Martinez.
00:45The first half was rather uneventful, Garnaccio and Rasmus Hollingwood both took headers at the pout goal.
00:52After the break though, United burst into life. Ahmad with a looping header at the back post after a great ball by Bruno Fernandes gave his side a deserved lead.
01:01They should have had a second swell and Bruno Fernandes played it through once again but he fired straight at the keeper.
01:07Pauk had a couple of openings themselves. It was evidence once again that Manchester United simply conceded too many chances in their own half.
01:14But thankfully for Manchester United, those chances were wasted by Pauk and they would get a second man of the match.
01:21Ahmad wrestled the ball off Baba Rahman at full-back, cut inside and his deflected effort went into the back of the net.
01:28I say Ahmad with a standout tonight, well so are they. The Pauk fans made themselves heard.
01:33They sold out away end with plenty of them as well, causing a bit of chaos because they were in the home end here.
01:39Old Trafford, it all kicked off to a degree when that second goal went in.
01:43But for Manchester United, well we didn't really learn too much about Jurgen Isturov's side in his third and penultimate match as interim manager.
01:51Ahmad is a star, Garnaccio and Dalot both struggled quite poorly tonight.
01:56They both just looked in need of a rest, there wasn't really too much to worry about other than that.
02:03For United, this is an encouraging win in the fact that they've not won in Europe for a long time.
02:09It's the type of routine win that has been forgotten of in recent years.
02:15For United, the first win in the Europa League this season, they are up to 15th.
02:20Ruben Isturov will have one final game in charge as interim head coach, that is at home to Leicester City this weekend.
02:26You can follow the build-up to all that game with us on Manchester World.
