00:33Anwar commended China's focus on values and civilisation, which he noted distinguishes
00:39it from other global leaders and underscores its dedication to its people and humanity's
00:45welfare.
00:46He further highlighted the deepening ties between Malaysia and China, particularly in
00:52areas such as trade, investment, digital technology, energy and skills training.
00:58Malaysia, Anwar said, values China's willingness to embrace the nation as a partner in these
01:04critical sectors.
01:06He also addressed Malaysia's upcoming ASEAN chairmanship and the region's expanding ties
01:12with both the Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC and China.
01:17The Prime Minister pointed to a significant diplomatic achievement, the ASEAN-GCC-China
01:22Partnership, which he believes will play a crucial role in shaping the future of global

01:31Despite challenges, Anwar assured that Malaysia would continue to act in its national interest,
01:37referencing its independent approach to decisions like those on 5G technology.

01:52Anwar arrived in Beijing on Wednesday, the final stop of his working visit to China from

01:59His visit began in Shanghai, where he attended the 7th China International Import Expo on
