El actor protagoniza ya su cuarta telenovela, El precio de amarte (Univision), y nos revela qué le agradece hoy a Carlos Ponce, su padrino.

00:00He's a character that I was stressed out by in a good way.

00:10I consider myself a workaholic, just like my partner Scarlett.

00:14So at first I was struggling to understand how I was going to fill those emotional spaces of the character,

00:24which is a very important part of the film, a very rough and hard past.

00:29And to be able to emotionally fill that at the beginning, before we started recording,

00:34I was a little overwhelmed because I didn't know exactly how to approach it.

00:40And from the first call I realized that I already had it.

00:44It was just a matter of relaxing and flowing.

00:47And it flowed, and I feel very fortunate for what we have achieved with this project.

00:53I, as Scarlett, as my partners, and the final work that we see in the frame is wonderful.

00:59If I didn't make a mistake in what I felt in my chest,

01:03if my heart hadn't done anything,

01:07I would still be mine and not suffer like this.

01:11You gave me the desire to love you beautifully,

01:16to write the story that no one had written.

01:19I didn't expect to be where I am, but I am where I always wanted to be.

01:28There came a time in my life when I decided to dedicate myself 100% to acting,

01:35and I visualized it.

01:39But what do you think?

01:41Reality surpassed my imagination, and I'm really living a dream.

01:46Yes, of course.

01:47I am very happy and grateful to God, to life, to the people who said yes,

01:52but also to the people who said no.

01:56Right now I was remembering Carlos Ponce, who was the protagonist of that story.

02:01Carlos is a great guy.

02:03And for me, I had a lot of scenes with him,

02:06because my character was the best friend of Carlos Ponce,

02:10who was the protagonist of Dos Hogares.

02:13And on that occasion, he was very kind to me, very nice,

02:18I was nervous, and he supported me, he helped me.

02:21And I think that's fundamental, that we are all like that on the set,

02:27especially the protagonists.

02:29I consider that my responsibility is, within what fits and is in my hands,

02:36to make the atmosphere as harmonious as possible.

02:40And I had a very good godfather for that.

02:44That's why I thank Carlos whenever I see him.

02:47I thank him for the good vibes.

02:50And now that I'm on the other side,

02:53I try to be like that with people who go for the first time,

02:58or who only have one scene.
