00:36For a playoff berth, but you can see first year coaches really starting to make some traction willie fritz at houston

00:44Uh is one of those coaches deshaun foster at ucla is another one of those coaches

00:50Those two teams casey are under 500 but playing significantly better since mid-october

00:56So if you're looking for teams that have a lot to play for maybe the record doesn't indicate it

01:02But you can wager on teams that are trending in the right direction

01:06Ucla upsets nebraska and lincoln again playing significantly better back-to-back road wins

01:14Uh over rutgers and nebraska rutgers a week ago

01:17And then houston, you know willie fritz to me

01:20A former two-lane coach one of the best coaches said maybe best dozen or so coaches in the country

01:26Taking some time at houston doesn't have the offensive personnel

01:30But the defense has been stepping up and to upset kansas state as a double digit underdog

01:36That is a huge win and now teams like that like houston and ucla they'll play the rest of november knowing

01:43That in each of these games

01:44They've got a shot to become bowl eligible and if you're a first year coach

01:48And you really want to get some some progress out of your young players those extra 15 practices

01:54And one more game that is essential to getting a fast start for 2025

02:22Too many star players not enough players that are going to help assist in other ways or sometimes it is coaching and play calling
