00:09Continuous help is being given to those affected by the Christine and Leon earthquake.

00:15According to NDRRMC, the amount of help given by the government reached 1.1 billion pesos.

00:23DSWD is also distributing 1 million family food packs to different parts of the country affected by the earthquake.

00:32As of now, 227,000 individuals are still in evacuation centers,

00:38while more than half a million are currently living with family or friends.

00:46The earthquake is over.

00:48The next thing to do is to prepare for the holiday season.

00:51In an interview with PTV or Kulat Bayan Weekend last night,

00:55PNP Spokesperson Chief PIO Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo said

01:03that the presence of the police is being maintained,

01:07as well as the frequent use of foot and mobile patrols in places like markets, malls, and night markets.

01:15At a time like this, economic activities are expected to be delayed.

01:22According to UNDAS 2024,

01:25more than 42,000 people were evacuated,
