00:22As one of the families who lost their loved ones because of the Christine earthquake,
00:29President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. issued Proclamation No. 728
00:34which was declared on the 4th of November as the Day of National Mourning.
00:41The Philippines' apology was raised in half a pole from morning to sunset
00:47to all government offices and facilities inside and outside the country on Monday.
00:52In accordance with the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines,
00:56this is done as a sign of condolence for the tragedy.

01:24the Department of Social Welfare continues to provide assistance to the areas that are recovering from the impact of the Christine earthquake.
01:363,400 boxes of Family Food Packs were delivered to Barangay Bogtong in Legazpes City, Albay
01:42where the Christine earthquake hit.
01:45More than a million boxes of Family Food Packs were distributed by the DSWD to the victims of the Christine earthquake.
01:53To help our countrymen who lost their homes to rebuild their homes,
02:01the DSWD provided 3.2 million pesos in financial assistance to individuals in crisis.
02:14The Department of Agriculture also provided more than 540 million pesos in farm input for farmers and fishermen affected by the earthquake.
02:26Aside from the 500 million pesos from the Agricultural Credit Policy Council
02:32and the 1 billion pesos from the Quick Response Fund for the rehabilitation of facilities of agencies that were damaged by the bad weather.
02:41Some private sectors are also helping the victims of the earthquake.
02:461,000 families received relief packages in Calabar Zone.
02:50They also provided financial assistance to partner drivers affected by the calamity.
