00:00You know, when we came into this movie, we weren't sure how much we were going to do
00:11live or not.
00:19But they are the best singers in the world, and so every scene, they have been singing
00:23live.
00:24We chose to sing live because it meant that we would be further connected to the words
00:38we were saying and to each other.
00:46It was an immediate no-brainer for Cynthia and I.
00:49We both were like, well, of course we're singing live.
00:53There's something special about what happens when music is live in a room.
00:57So if you can't find me, look to the western sky.
01:03You're perfect.
01:04You're perfect.
01:05So we're perfect together.
01:08Born to be forever.
01:11Dancing through life.
01:15So what we've managed to do is immerse the audience because, effectively, our movie set
01:20is also a recording studio.
01:23So that raw and real emotion that we are recording on set right now will be what you hear and
01:28experience in the theater.
01:31He could be that boy.
01:38I'm not that girl.
01:45It feels really powerful to be able to use singing in that way.
01:49You feel it.
01:50You feel the effects that they both have on the set.
01:52He's going to cry.
01:53It's so beautiful.
01:54It's so beautiful.
01:55There's no flight we cannot win.
01:56Just you and I defying gravity.
01:57With you and I defying gravity.
01:58Whenever we would get to the end of an incredibly emotional day, Cynthia and I would refer to
02:20ourselves as husks, having given everything we've got.
02:28I think the audience is going to be very surprised about the experience they're going to get
02:31here.
02:32No one has ever seen this powerhouse like this before.
02:37It was like the best concert you could have ever attended at the best seats in the house.
02:46Wicked, rated PG, only in theaters November 22nd.
