Pentagon says it will send an additional $425mln in military aid to Ukraine 'soon'

The new aid package includes weapons that will be pulled from existing US stockpiles, including air defence interceptors for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems and munitions for HIMARS rocket systems.

00:34war and said providing Kiev with weapons only prolongs the fighting.

00:38But in the Latvian capital Riga, Estonia's Prime Minister Kristin Michal urged European

00:44countries to follow the Baltic example by providing Kiev with the means to win the war.

00:49In 2024, Estonia pledged more than 100 million euros in military aid for Ukraine, with Latvia

00:55promising 112 million.
