The ribbon was cut on the Grassmere Way site on Wednesday, October 30, by mayor of Saltash Cllr Julia Peggs marking the start of a new chapter for children on Pillmere.

00:00Good morning everybody. Thank you all for turning out this morning.

00:04We've come to open this wonderful facility that we've got here in Brassenaway.

00:10And welcome to all of those online this morning as well.

00:13So, I'd like to say a big thank you to everybody that's been involved.

00:19It's been hard work, but the funding is here and the park's about to open.

00:24And I think we've got some really excited people today, haven't we?

00:28Yes, I think we are. So, it's with my great pleasure, I'd like to open the new park in Brassenaway.
