Ursula von der Leyen promette assistenza alla Spagna inondata

Bruxelles, 30 ott. (askanews) - La presidente della Commissione europea, Ursula von der Leyen, promette aiuto alla Spagna colpita dalle inondazioni ma sottolinea che l'Unione deve essere pronta ad affrontare le conseguenze del cambiamento climatico.  "In pochi mesi le inondazioni hanno colpito l'Europa centrale e orientale, poi l'Italia, ora la Spagna. Questa è la drammatica realtà del cambiamento climatico e dobbiamo prepararci ad affrontare tutto questo in tutta la nostra Unione e con tutti i mezzi che abbiamo" ha detto da Bruxelles, aggiungendo che "Abbiamo attivato il sistema satellitare Copernico per aiutare a coordinare i soccorsi e abbiamo offerto di attivare il nostro meccanismo di protezione civile"
