00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is confident of the steps his administration is taking

00:04to address the hunger problem in the country.

00:07The chief executive led a sectoral meeting with the Department of Social Welfare and

00:11Development, or DSWD, and said the government is on track in as far as its goal of helping

00:17Filipinos who are experiencing hunger.

00:19In fact, from one million families before, the number of those considered to be food

00:24poor has gone down to 700,000 because of the implementation of the food stamp program.
