00:00PTV News is back with news that 200 and 70 overseas Filipino workers were returned to the Philippines yesterday.
00:12Repatriate Bonson of Lumalalang, Tenzon in Lebanon.
00:16They were happy to be visited by Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Kakdak and OA Administrator Arnel Ignacio
00:25when they arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport around 3 p.m. yesterday.
00:30They boarded a chartered plane.
00:32In total, 903 Filipinos were returned to the country since October of last year.
00:39The government promised that it will respond to the transportation of OFWs until they return to their homes.
00:49The government agencies will provide financial assistance to the Filipinos who were repatriated from Lebanon.
00:59The OFWs will receive P75,000 from the Department of Migrant Workers
01:05as well as the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
01:09They will also receive P20,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
01:15Meanwhile, the Department of Health will provide medical consultation and psychological first aid to the Filipinos who were repatriated.
01:24The Department of Foreign Affairs and DMW, as well as the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey,
01:32will help the Filipinos who were repatriated from Lebanon.
