Artist Wendy Priest gets set for her very first solo exhibition at The Crossing at St Paul's, Walsall.

00:00This is St Paul's Gallery in the crossing at Walsall, and I belong to the Walsall Society of Artists.

00:07And each month the Walsall Society has got a different artist exhibiting their work at the crossing.

00:14And it's my turn this month, and it's my very first solo exhibition, which I'm very proud to be holding here.

00:21I've got around 50 pieces of work as floral works.

00:26I've done a few local scenes. I've used a variety of different media for various different works.

00:33And I'm hoping it'll be very successful, and people will be interested and will like to come and see my artwork.

00:39Wonderful. How long is it here for, Wenda?

00:41It's for a month. It starts tomorrow, on the Saturday, and it goes on for a month.

00:48And it finishes on the last Thursday of the month of November.

00:51Right. And are people able to purchase the artwork?

00:53Yes, people can purchase artwork, yes.

00:55Fantastic. And how do they do that?

00:57There'll be a label underneath each piece of artwork with information about the artwork,

01:02and there'll be my email address so that people can contact me if they wish to purchase anything.

01:07So I'll be very pleased if people do.

01:09I've got four meet the artist sessions where people can come,

01:15and I'll have my greetings cards available for people to buy,

01:20and people can come and look at the artwork and purchase paintings those days as well if they would like to.
