00:00Yeah, looking to patty Mahomes here talking about how they can

00:06get de hop ready to play pretty quickly. Yeah, I think I think

00:10the biggest thing is just getting with the coaches. I

00:13think our coaches do a great job of getting guys up to speed.

00:15And you've seen that throughout this year already, bringing in

00:18guys, getting them up to speed fast and then let them go out

00:20there and make impact and do what they're great at. And so

00:22that's stuff that I think the coaches really do well. And then

00:26at me as a quarterback, I just try to be on the same page with

00:28the guys that are in there whenever I'm taking a snap.

00:31How about the fact that you've had a receiver that's good at

00:33detesting catches, like what's your level in throwing those

00:37sorts of throws? Yeah, I think in my time, we've had receivers

00:42that can make some of those contested catches. And once you

00:45build that relationship and build that trust, you put them

00:47up there and let guys go out there and make plays. I think

00:50that's what's special about Coach Reed's offense is that it

00:52adapts to whoever's in there. He has different ways he can

00:56utilize your strengths. And then it's my job to go out there

00:58and put guys in chances, give them chances to go out there

01:01and make plays. Yeah, how about, you know, run 40 steps, turn

01:06right at the Thunderbird and I'll throw it. How about go

01:09post? Screw the playbook, go deep. Okay, this guy, Hopkins

01:15is another one that goes up and gets it. He always comes down

01:19with a rock. And people say he's had all these injuries and

01:22everything else. I'm like, yeah, I don't really think so.

01:25You know, who doesn't get injured in the NFL? This guy

01:28knew can flat out play. You put him with a badass like Mahomes

01:31and big things are inevitable. It's just inevitable that

01:34they're going to produce together. This guy makes every

01:37receiver look like God. I mean, honestly, who hadn't Valdez

01:42Scanling. It goes on and on the list of guys. He brought this

01:46guy Smith Schuster back from the dead like Jesus. I saw this

01:50guy catching passes running 40 yards after catch. He didn't

01:53catch one pass in New England the entire year that he was

01:57there. Now the guys catching passes again, like who doesn't

02:00Mahomes make look good. I mean, honestly, this is going to be

02:03a piece of cake. No, I agree with you, Scotty. I mean, you

02:07know, obviously generational talent at quarterback half a

02:10billion dollars and probably worth every penny. But the

02:13dirty little secret here is honestly, the Kansas City

02:16Chiefs are a defensive team these days. And I don't think

02:19people realize that it's going to be their defense that gets

02:23them if they're going to go to a third straight Super Bowl.

02:25And quite frankly, I don't think they're going to. I think

02:28it'll be the Baltimore Ravens, but that's another topic for

02:30another day.
