00:00The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Lawag City has also been alerted to the effects of Hurricane Christine here in the province.

00:12The rainfall here in Lawag City, in Ilocos Norte, is also because of Hurricane Christine.

00:20But this is just the beginning of what we have experienced up to the heavy rain.

00:26Sometimes, there is a strong wind.

00:28Now, the Lawag City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office has been alerted.

00:34It is expected that this afternoon or later, the effects of Hurricane Christine will be more noticeable here in the province.

00:43Their evacuation center is already prepared here based on the families that need to be evacuated.

00:50The evacuation center is well-prepared here.

00:52There is a room for each family.

00:54The relief packs, family kits, and sleeping kits are also on standby here.

01:00The 39E Marcos Sr. Memorial Stadium here in Lawag serves as a staging area.

01:08Rescue boats will be used to respond to the floods.

01:13The Office of Civil Defense in Ilocos Region is already issuing a pre-emptive evacuation to flood-prone and landslide-prone areas.

01:22Do not wait for anything to happen, especially in areas affected by Hurricane Christine, particularly in Bicol Region.

01:31According to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau, there are more than 1,000 barangays in the entire Ilocos Region

01:37that can be affected by landslides.
