Diddy's kids are speaking out in the wake of their father's incarceration and growing legal controversy ... posting their support of the music mogul in a joint statement.

00:05He is very eager to tell his story.

00:08They're going to show that video over and over and over

00:11about what happens to women that won't change their stories.

00:15His reputation is over.

00:17The United States government, they start making this case

00:20as a takedown of a successful black man.

00:30Diddy's trial still well over six months away and the allegations...

00:35Or longer.

00:36Yes, and the allegations keep mounting, not necessarily from the feds,

00:39although they have said that there could be additional charges coming,

00:43but in new lawsuits that continue to come.

00:46Almost by the dozen.

00:47And it seems that Diddy's children are keeping up with the news

00:51and they are reading each and every one of these, reading the details.

00:56And it sounds like they're kind of fed up

00:58because although they've rarely said anything about this since he was arrested,

01:04they issued a joint statement from all of his children,

01:07with the exception of the two-year-old, Love.

01:09The statement says,

01:10The past month has devastated our family.

01:13Many have judged both him and us based on accusations,

01:17conspiracy theories and false narratives

01:19that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.

01:22We stand united, supporting you every step of the way.

01:26We hold on to the truth, knowing it will prevail,

01:29and nothing will break the strength of our family.

01:31We miss you and love you, Dad.

01:33That is interesting that they're coming out as a group in a picture like that.

01:39Diddy himself has said that he denies all of the charges.

01:43I mean, he kind of said it at the beginning.

01:45He's not answering each one.

01:47But if, you know, we've done a couple of documentaries on this

01:52and are actually working on our third,

01:55and, you know, Diddy's lawyer,

01:57I think the defense they're going to make is these are all money grabs.

02:01So you can talk all you want about your dad being set up by conspiracy theories,

02:05but a couple things.

02:07Number one, these rumors about Diddy have been around for decades,

02:10so it hasn't always been a money grab.

02:12People have been talking about this for a long time.

02:14And number two, we've seen this video.

02:16This is, at least without judging whether or not he committed the specific acts

02:21that are going to be alleged in the indictments,

02:23this is a guy who's been committing some acts unspeakable at times for a long time,

02:29the least of which, at the tip of which, is beating the hell out of Cassie.

02:35That is going to be really hard for him to overcome in front of a jury

02:40when that video is released.

02:43What they're going to do is they're going to show,

02:45the prosecution is going to use it to show this is his MO,

02:48because they're not prosecuting him for the beating.

02:51That would be a state crime, and the statute of limitations is run.

02:55But they want to use the video to show this is his MO.

02:58This is the way he operates.

03:01That's going to be a hard hill for him to climb over.

03:06By the way, they've also mentioned, I know he's not being charged for this,

03:09but they've mentioned in the indictment that people being held against their will,

03:13and they made a reference to, they didn't call her Cassie, they said victim one.

03:18Because what they're saying is-

03:19She's trying to escape.

03:20This was a freak off.

03:22Right.

03:22And she was trying to get out and he dragged her back in.

03:32I truly do believe that post was made to humanize him by his kids.

03:37To be like, you know what, we believe all of this is just false statements.

03:42But really, after all that we have learned with Diddy,

03:46And I do just truly believe that his children were making that post as a ploy.

03:50I got to say, you do feel for them.

03:52I mean, obviously they're not going to...

03:54They're in a tough position, right?

03:57And they want to try to help their father in some way.

04:01But you're right, outside of his family,

04:04everyone is looking at the case with different eyes than obviously they would.
