Telford Man is Collecting Toys To Help Families This Christmas

Perry Evason from Telford has been raising money and collecting toys to hand out to families who will be struggling this Christmas. He will be handing them out on 9th and 10th November at The Three Furnaces in Telford.

00:00My name's Perry from Eveslow Improvements, obviously. We're at Three Furnaces.

00:05We're here to give some toys out to the less fortunate, I suppose you could say.

00:129th and 10th of November we'll be down here. There'll be a few of us here.

00:17We'll just be giving these out to people who would otherwise not have any, basically.

00:23It's hard times for people, isn't it?

00:25Some people are lucky to have a bit of spare money.

00:28Some people are unfortunate to only pay their bills and that's it, really.

00:33I just thought I'd give back a little bit.

00:35We've done a few charity bits in the past.

00:38Obviously, we helped George, the war vet, we helped him rebuild his war for free.

00:44We've done some stuff with the homeless last year.

00:48We do bits every now and then for the community and the charity.

00:52It's the 9th of November and the 10th of November. It's a Saturday and a Sunday.

00:57It's going to be from about 9.30 onwards.
