00:11and notoriety. But one senator is not losing hope and has visited the province
00:16to assure its provincial government of financial support

00:22The provincial government of Sulu expressed confidence it will not be forsaken by the
00:30national government in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling declaring the province
00:35as not part of the BARMM.
00:52The Sulu governor said the provincial government and its constituents cannot afford
01:03to pay for all the expenses. However,
01:22Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino visited the province to personally check
01:36their situation after the SC ruling. The senator met with Sulu Governor Abdul Sakurtan
01:42and assured him of his support, especially for their financial needs.
01:52Tolentino sees a hope in light of the Senate budget debates when session resumes. Meanwhile,
02:14the senator also visited the Mindanao State University in Sulu and the military camp.
