King Charles and Queen Camilla receive ceremonial welcome at Australia's parliament
King Charles and Queen Camilla received a ceremonial welcome at Australia's Parliament House in Canberra on Monday, October 21.
The King inspected the Royal Guard of Honour, received a 21-gun salute and signed both the visitors books in the Marble Foyer.
Charles’s 16th official visit to Australia, where he attended school for six months as a teenager in 1966, is also his first major foreign trip since being diagnosed with cancer in February.
Earlier in the day, the royal couple laid a wreath and floral tributes at the Australian War Memorial.
