00:00Now, Blue Ocean Strategy, as you know,
00:03is a new strategy that has been,
00:11of course, in the last few decades, of course,
00:13but then been pushed as a new agenda
00:18during these post-normal times.
00:22You are breaking into a departure
00:26from the conventional view
00:29of economic development and progress.
00:31You're looking at your own strength and resources.
00:36Now, Blue Economy Initiative
00:42is, of course, a new focus,
00:45and not all countries or societies,
00:47or even states in Malaysia,
00:51can benefit from this Blue Ocean Economy.
00:56Well, in a small way, yes,
00:59but you are blessed, alhamdulillah.
01:03This state, the Great Sabah,
01:06can be greater if you focus on these issues.
01:10Now, this is what we call
01:13a broader, inclusive, sustainable development.
01:18Now, in the last few decades,
01:19nobody talked about energy transition,
01:22or more so, energy from the ocean.
01:30Hardly, except for the energy
01:32to get this sailing boat across.
01:35But now, these are new ideas,
01:38and our capacity to absorb them,
01:42to get our universities, including University Sabah,
01:48to get our colleges, our experts,
01:50to be directly involved in this series of discussions.
01:54That's why I'm thankful that so many representatives
01:58from universities and colleges are also present
02:01to make sure that they'll participate
02:03and support this endeavor to make Sabah,
02:07an important part of this nation,
02:09economically strong and viable.
02:12Malaysia is now the hub for semiconductor.
02:15Sarawak used to be now one of the energy hub
02:21Now, we have this idea from our smart Haji Ji,
02:25Chief Minister, wanting to make true blue ocean,
02:30a new hub for the region,
02:31and I, as Prime Minister, will give all the support necessary
02:35to make sure that Sabah succeed.
02:40That's how we work.
02:43Are we competing?
02:44No, we are complementing.
