00:00Sean Payton's win over Saints puts him in rare NFL coaching fraternity.
00:05Sean Payton made some history on Thursday night and received a game ball for his efforts.
00:11On Thursday night, Sean Payton became one of eight NFL head coaches to have beaten all
00:1632 teams.
00:18As the former long-time coach of the New Orleans Saints, that was one team that he would never
00:23get the chance to beat so long as he was there.
00:26Three years or so after stepping away from the Saints, Payton is now head coach of a
00:30Denver Broncos squad that moved to 4-3 on the season after a dominant 33-10 win in New
00:36Orleans.
00:37The Broncos did Payton proud in his homecoming to Caesars Superdome.
00:42With a win over all 32 teams now under his belt, Payton joins an elite fraternity of
00:47NFL coaches to have achieved the feat, including Mike Shanahan, Bill Belichick, Tony Dungy,
00:54John Fox, Mike Holmgren, Bill Parcells and Andy Reid.
00:59Three of those coaches, including Payton, coached the Broncos.
01:04After the game, Payton was presented with the game ball.
01:08Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix shared what that moment was like.
01:12It was awesome.
01:14The Saints mean a lot to him, Nix said post-game.
01:17He was there for a while, and, had amazing success.
01:21It's tough to go back to a place where you called home for that long and you fought for,
01:26and now you are playing against.
01:28It was special.
01:30It was a great moment.
01:31I'm happy for him.
01:33It's tough to call Broncos Saints a revenge game because it doesn't feel like there's
01:37any real antipathy between Payton and his former team.
01:41Now, perhaps Saints fans would disagree, but it seemed like his reception at the Superdome
01:47went about as well as one could hope considering the circumstances.
01:51I thought it was great, Payton said of his welcome at the Superdome.
01:55You don't forget the faces, the smiles or the dialect.
01:59They were great.

02:15One day, Payton will retire from coaching.
02:18Depending on what he achieves in Denver, there's a chance he'll have a shot at the
02:22Pro Football Hall of Fame because of the sustained success he had in New Orleans, winning a Super
02:27Bowl and the offensive ingenuity he brought to the NFL.
02:32Maybe he'll end up in Canton.
02:34Payton will definitely one day find himself in the Saints Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor.
02:39His family to that organization, and vice versa.
02:43Still, it's the demands of the NFL.
02:47A game was on the line.
02:49Pride was on the line, and Payton came out on top against a severely depleted Saints
02:54squad.
02:55But Payton got it done, and the Broncos are four to three with a ten-day break between
03:00games.
03:01Call it a mini-bye.
03:03As cool as it was to see so many familiar faces in his old stomping ground, Payton is
03:08likely relieved to have that Saints matchup off his docket.
03:12It was kind of emotional, Payton said.
