Armed police search for weapons at Chichester school; high school also put under lockdown

Armed police responded to a report of disorder in the vicinity of Bishop Luffa School and Chichester High School around 2.35pm today. Chichester Observer reporter Connor Gormley was outside Bishop Luffa to update us on the situation.

00:04Bishop Luther Secondary School here in Chichester which went into a kind of

00:08lockdown about 2.35 p.m. today which is October 16th after armed police were

00:14sent to the school following an unnamed incident. No injuries reported and

00:19no weapons have been found but Sussex Police have confirmed that an

00:23investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being asked to come forward, help out

00:27and tell officers what they know.
